This past month we updated our MD Standard School facilities by resurfacing our 4 classrooms with murram (reddish clay-like material) to reduce the dusty floors. We also began the construction of our two additional classrooms for primary five and primary six students. These facility upgrades were directives given to the school by the officials of the Ugandan Ministry of Education and Sports at the district level. Additional improvements include completing the classrooms, purchasing additional desks, building a girls bathroom, and reconstructing the school fence.
